International Music Competition «Perpetuum mobile» offers an extraordinary opportunity for gifted young musicians to develop and advance their talents through participating in competition and performing on a stage.
Located in the Vienna area (Austria), The «Perpetuum mobile» invites local, national, and international students with musical talents to experience and accomplish musical excellence.
International Music Competition «Perpetuum mobile» is committed to inspiring young artists and enriching their musical experiences so that they can enjoy and enhance performing instruments at early stages of their careers in music.
AGE GROUPS
«Perpetuum mobile» International Music Competition is open to instrumentalists of all nationalities under the age of 35.
Specifically, applicants in age groups:
- Junior (ages up to 10)
- A (ages 10-12)
- B (ages 13-15)
- C (ages 16-19)
- D (ages 20 and under)
are eligible to participate in this competition.

- Piano
- Piano ensemble
- Strings (Violin - Viola - Cello - Double Bass)
- Harp
- Voice (Soprano - Mezzo - Contralto - Tenor - Baryton - Bass)
- Woodwinds and Brass (Flute - Oboe - Clarinet – Bassoon; Trumpet - French Horn - Trombone - Saxophone)
- Percussion
- Accordion
- Guitar
REPERTOIRE REQUIREMENT
Several pieces of the participant’s choice
Performance Time
| Junior | – Each performance must not exceed 7 minutes |
| A | – Each performance must not exceed 10 minutes |
| B | – Each performance must not exceed 10 minutes |
| C | – Each performance must not exceed 15 minutes |
| D | – Each performance must not exceed 20 minutes |
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
All applications must be completed and submitted by email: liudm.kostromitina@yandex.ru
Applications must be received by 23:59 GMT+3 on April 1, 2020.
All applicants must submit nonrefundable payments of application fees.
The application fee for each division is as followed:
| Solo performer: | 80 euro |
| Ensembles: | 40 euro per person |
A confirmation notice will be emailed to each applicant (or the representative of the ensemble group).
PRIZES
All contestants will be awarded with diplomas. Teachers and accompanists may receive certificates by request.
The Jury may award additional special awards or specific acknowledgements.
The prizewinners will receive an invitation to join the concerts of Festival «Music seasons on Nevsky prospect» at 2020-2021.
